Overall, 2010 was a better year for the global automotive industry. Many aspects of the marketplace either moved forward or were reconciled. With sales rebounding to 6.9 million units, this year was far better than 2009 (one of the hardest years ever). And the good news is that next year is forecasted to be even better. Adding to the momentum will be the introduction of more hybrid models than ever before and a few of the first pure electric vehicles will finally be hitting the road.
